There’s a tendency in life to over-complicate things.

I’ve spent the past twenty years or so making a career out of doing something I really love – working closely with market-leading brands to source their top Talent, through Executive Search.

People can clearly see whether or not you are passionate about what you do – and I am. I think that’s why I get results. That and my applied, creative approach.

I listen perhaps more than I talk, to gain a deeper understanding of your needs rather than make assumptions. Each client company has a different culture and first and foremost, I seek to understand that. Then I apply my knowledge of the market and my extensive contacts within it, to uncover the people you need – to separate the wheat from the chaff.

I’m supported by research but remain hands-on throughout the process from compilation of target list through initial approaches and interviews, to managing the recruitment and offer process with you. I like to think it’s an enjoyable process for all involved.

My relationships with clients and with candidates are long-standing and based ultimately on trust.

I’m proactive, communicating regular progress reports, feedback, market intelligence and brand perceptions. I like to think the client quickly sees why they’ve retained me and the candidate is confident I have their best career interests at heart.

Honesty should underpin all we do: I don’t oversell an opportunity and I don’t sell my own brand, I am representing yours.
